The Ditmar Awards have been awarded at the Australian National Science Fiction conventions since 1969 in order to recognise achievements in Australian science fiction, fantasy and horror.

Semiprozine.org was originally founded as SaveSemiprozine.org when the Best Semiprozine Hugo Award was in danger of being eliminated. After successfully saving the category, it was decided that this site should continue to serve as a central point of communication from and about semiprozines.
